Who we are

Honest Maids is a family owned house and commercial cleaning company based in Reseda, California. These terms apply to the website honestmaids.la and to any communications we send through it. Cleaning work itself is governed by a separate written estimate that we agree with you before the job starts.

Using the website

You may use this website for any lawful purpose, including reading about our services, requesting an estimate, or getting in touch. Please do not:

• Try to interfere with the website or the servers that run it
• Scrape the site for commercial purposes without asking
• Submit false information through the contact form or use it to send bulk messages
• Impersonate another person or business

Estimates and quotes

Every estimate we send is free and non-binding until you agree to book. Estimates are based on the information you give us, so a home that turns out to be materially different in size, condition, or scope may need the price revised before the work begins. If that ever happens, we tell you first, and you can decide whether to proceed.

Bookings and cancellations

You can book with a text message, a phone call, or an email. We do not require a card on file to hold your slot. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as far in advance as you can, so we can offer the time to someone else. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

Payment

Payment is due when the cleaning is finished and you have walked the home. We accept card, bank transfer, Zelle, cash, and check. Recurring customers may set up a saved card that runs automatically after each visit. This is optional, and there is no saved card on a first visit unless you ask.

Our satisfaction guarantee

If something is not right after a visit, tell us within seven days and we come back to fix it, at no additional charge. We would rather return and put it right than leave a customer feeling like they paid for something they did not get. This guarantee is described plainly on our service pages, and it is part of what we mean by honest.

What is not covered

We do not perform hazardous materials cleanup, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, or heavy pest control. We do not shampoo carpets, wash exterior windows, or clean ceilings above eight feet without prior arrangement. We do not move or handle firearms, cash, or extremely fragile valuables. If you are unsure whether we can help with a specific job, ask us before you book and we will give a straight answer.

Reviews and testimonials

Reviews shown on this website come from verified Google reviews of our business. We do not edit review text. If you want to leave your own review, links to our Google, Yelp, Facebook, and Instagram profiles are in the footer of every page.

Content on this site

The text, photographs, illustrations, and code on this site are either owned by Honest Maids or used with permission. You may share links to any page freely. You may not copy substantial sections of the site for commercial use without asking.

Third-party links

The site links out to Google Business Profile, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, and other services. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or how they operate.

Disclaimer of warranties

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of every technical issue. The information on the site is provided as is, without guarantees of any kind beyond those written into a signed estimate for actual cleaning work.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by California law, Honest Maids is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Our liability for the cleaning work itself is separately governed by the written estimate you sign and by our insurance coverage, which we can share on request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from your use of this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The last-updated date at the top will change when we do, and substantial changes will be noted at the top so you can see what changed.
