Commercial cleaning is the scheduled cleaning of a workspace, carried out around your operating hours rather than through them. Honest Maids cleans offices, retail floors, studios, clinics, salons, and small business premises across the San Fernando Valley, on a nightly, weekly, or custom schedule agreed in advance.

We are family owned, and the people who clean your premises are our own trained staff. That matters more in a workplace than in a home, because the same faces return each visit, they learn the space, and you are not handing keys or alarm codes to a rotating pool of subcontractors.

Every engagement starts with a walkthrough. We look at the square footage, the floor types, the traffic the space takes, and the hours available to work, then quote against what we saw rather than a rate card. Estimates are free, and no card is needed to book.

Consistency is the whole point of the arrangement. A workspace cleaned properly on the same schedule week after week never reaches the state where it needs rescuing. Staff notice it, customers notice it, and it protects the surfaces you have already paid for.

What is included

What a commercial clean covers

Scope is agreed site by site, though a standard scheduled visit follows the same shape almost everywhere. Workspaces and desks are wiped and sanitized, high touch points such as door handles, light switches, and shared equipment get particular attention, and trash and recycling are emptied and relined.

Kitchens and break rooms cover counters, sinks, appliance exteriors, tables and chairs, floors, and refuse, with interior appliance cleaning run on an agreed cycle rather than every visit. Restrooms are fully sanitized, fixtures and mirrors included, floors done last, and consumables restocked where you supply them.

Floors take the longest. All carpet is vacuumed, edges and traffic lanes included, and hard floors are swept and mopped. Deeper periodic treatment is agreed separately, because it needs different equipment and a different time window. Common areas finish the visit, which means reception, waiting areas, corridors, glass doors, and the interior glass a visitor sees first.

Choosing a schedule

How often should a workspace be cleaned?

Frequency follows foot traffic rather than floor area. Daily or nightly service suits sites with public footfall, food handling, or shared restrooms, where a single missed day is visible to everyone who walks in. Two or three visits a week suits most offices, keeping restrooms and kitchens ahead of demand while spreading the cost across the month. Weekly suits small teams, studios, and private offices with light traffic. We work around your hours, which usually means evenings, early mornings, or weekends, and for a site that has to be cleaned while it is open we set a routine that keeps equipment and wet floors away from customers.

How a workplace clean fits around your open hours A horizontal timeline of one working day at a business, read from early morning on the left to evening on the right. The open period sits in the middle and is left alone. Two cleaning windows sit on either side of it, one before the doors open and one after they close, so the working day is never interrupted and the space is already finished when staff and customers arrive. A note underneath says that for a space that never really closes, an overnight or weekend window works instead. Below the timeline are the areas a workplace clean covers, which are different from a home: reception and entrance glass, shared and common areas, workstations and desks, meeting rooms and shared tables, restrooms cleaned and restocked, the break room and kitchen, floors vacuumed and mopped, and waste removed with bins relined. Cleaning that fits around your open hours Your business stays open. The work happens on either side of the day. Honest Maids ONE WORKING DAY OPEN FOR BUSINESS No cart in the hallway. No vacuum during a meeting. The working day is not interrupted. CLEANING WINDOW Before the doors open Everything is done first CLEANING WINDOW After the doors close Reset for the next day Early morning Doors open Doors close Evening For a space that never really closes, an overnight or weekend window works instead. WHAT A WORKPLACE CLEAN COVERS A shared space, not a home, so the list is different. Reception Shared and Workstations Meeting rooms Restrooms Break room Floors Waste removed and entrance glass common areas and desks and shared tables cleaned and restocked and kitchen vacuumed and mopped bins relined WHY THE TIMING IS THE POINT A workplace clean is judged by what the working day never notices. We work around the hours you keep, so the first people through the door walk into a space that is already finished.
The cleaning sits on either side of your open hours, so no one has to work around a cart and nothing stops for us. Staff and customers arrive to a space that is already done.

How it works

From first walkthrough to a routine that runs

The walkthrough

We visit the premises and look at square footage, floor types, restroom count, and the traffic the space takes, then ask what hours are available to work. The walkthrough is free.

Scope and schedule

We agree what every visit covers, what runs on a longer cycle instead, and which days and times fit around your operation.

A fixed quote

You get a figure priced against the walkthrough rather than a per hour guess, so the invoice matches what was agreed. No card is needed to book.

Access sorted first

Service entrances, elevator booking, alarm procedures, loading restrictions, and anything building management keeps on file are handled before the first visit, not on the night.

The routine runs

The same crew returns on the agreed schedule. When your needs change, tell us and we adjust the plan rather than starting the whole arrangement over.

Commercial questions

Commercial cleaning, answered

What types of businesses do you clean?
Offices, retail floors, studios, clinics, salons, and small business premises across the San Fernando Valley. If you are unsure whether your site suits the way we work, describe it to us and we will tell you honestly rather than take the booking and hope.
Do you clean outside business hours?
Yes. Evenings, early mornings, and weekends are the normal arrangement, because a workspace is far easier to clean properly when nobody is trying to work in it. Sites that have to be cleaned while open, such as retail floors and waiting rooms, get a routine built to keep disruption away from customers.
How is commercial pricing worked out?
Against the walkthrough, not a per hour guess. Square footage, floor types, restroom count, traffic, frequency, and the hours available to work all change the time a visit takes. You get a fixed schedule and a fixed figure agreed before anything begins, so the invoice never arrives as a surprise.
Do you provide the cleaning supplies?
Yes. Our team brings professional grade supplies and equipment to every visit. Consumables such as paper goods and soap are usually supplied by the client, because stock, brand, and dispensers vary from site to site, though we can manage restocking as part of the routine if you would rather not think about it.
Are your cleaners your own employees?
Yes. Every member of staff is screened and trained before entering a site, and we never subcontract the work. In a commercial setting that is the difference between a known team and whoever happened to be available that night.
What does building management need before the first visit?
That varies by building. Tell us at the walkthrough what your landlord or building manager requires before staff are admitted, along with service entrance details, elevator booking rules, and alarm procedures, and we will confirm what we can provide so none of it holds up the first visit.
Will the same people clean each time?
That is how we prefer to run it. Consistency of crew is the single biggest factor in commercial cleaning quality, because a team that returns to the same space learns where the problems are and stops having to be told.
Can we change the schedule later?
Yes. Schedules are reviewed as your needs change, whether that means adding a night, dropping one, or shifting the time. Adjustments do not require starting the arrangement over.
Do you handle floor stripping, waxing, or carpet extraction?
These are periodic treatments quoted separately from routine cleaning, because they need different equipment and a different time window. Ask about them at the walkthrough and we will tell you what makes sense for your floors and how often.
How do we start?
With a free walkthrough. We look at the space, agree the scope and the schedule, and give you a fixed quote before any work begins. Send a text or give us a call, and no card is needed to book.
