Honest Maids is a family owned house and commercial cleaning company based in Reseda, California, serving the San Fernando Valley. This policy applies to the website honestmaids.la and to information you share when you request a quote, book a cleaning, or send us a message.

What we collect

The only information we collect is what you give us. When you fill out our contact form, text us, call us, or email us, we receive:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your address, if you share it to request a quote
• The service you are interested in
• Any message or notes you send us

The website itself may log basic technical information every website receives, such as your general location (city or region, not a precise address), the browser you use, the pages you visit on our site, and the time you visited. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are most helpful.

Why we collect it

We use your information only to:

• Reply to your message and give you a free estimate
• Schedule and carry out the cleaning you booked
• Follow up after a visit to confirm you were satisfied
• Send occasional service updates if you asked to hear from us

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes. We do not add you to a mailing list without your permission.

Who else sees your information

We use a small number of trusted third parties to run the business. Each of them has their own privacy policy and each is limited to the specific purpose listed:

• Netlify hosts our website and processes the contact form. They receive the form data so it can be delivered to us.
• Google Business Profile hosts our public business listing and reviews. If you leave a review there, it is public and governed by Google's terms.
• Our phone and email providers handle the calls, texts, and emails you send us. Standard carrier records apply.

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not run advertising retargeting pixels on this site.

How long we keep your information

We keep contact and booking records for as long as you are a customer, plus a reasonable period afterward for tax and record-keeping purposes. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within a reasonable time unless we are required to keep it by law.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights over the information a business holds about you. You have the right to:

The site is intended for adults booking a cleaning service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

No online service is entirely secure, so we ask you not to send us anything highly sensitive, like a payment card number, through the website form. Payment for cleanings is handled at the time of service by whichever method you prefer.

If we update this policy, the new version will replace this one and the last-updated date at the top will change. Substantial changes will be noted plainly at the top so you can see what changed.
